Onward and Upward……(said the proctologist)

Man… What a week. KSU is on spring break so I have been most musically busy. Patti came over to the studio at the house on Sunday and worked very hard for about 2 hours and laid down about 6 tracks for the www.bigphatjam.com contest. If you don’t know, you need to go there and download the music and  the background and have a blast. There are some reeeeeeeeeeeally good players on there and then some not so good.  I emailed John Carlson who I have played with in the past and encouraged him to lay down a nice track.

Well, suffice it to say, Patti is a world class vocalist and did a great job. I mixed it and mastered it and put it up yesterday so go there and vote for Patti H.

Tuesday was fun at PJE http://jazzedition.home.comcast.net/index.htmand I love playing Bari as usual. I received some new music in the mail yesterday for me and then the church is cranking out some really goooood stuff for the next month or so.  The KSU Dance folks are interested in us playing for them and we are working on that.  There are a couple of new female singers that want to play with the EJS. We have a swing dance coming up at Berry College. What fun!!! http://www.myspace.com/etowahjazzsociety

Monday I finally moved all my stuff out of my old orthopedic office and moved it down here to KSU.  I’ve got a lot of text books and references that are probably on line now. I’m such a DINOSAUR!!!

     Have a great day!!
