Woodlands Nite of Jazz with the EJS Big Band

Last nite mid all the spring time thunderstorms, the EJS big band played for a fundraiser for the Woodland HS Band Program. They played for about an hour and then we played for a little over an hour while the patrons were fed and then danced to the music. It was a pretty goood showin

g and I hope they raised some bucks for the uniforms…….mucho expensive.   The band was “on” and very relaxed and sounded wonderful.  Rodney and Sarah sang very well and really connected with the audience.     Today Im off to TUS practice for a gig in BIRMINGHAM on the 9th of April. This will be the first time my family there has had a chance to hear me play with the Usual Suspects.  Cool. Here are some pics from last nite. Enjoy and be safe….life is GOOD!!!
