Been real busy with the beginning of school. Have a break this next week with Labor day and can catch up on things. The construction of a practice facility for the EJS BIG BAND took off last week. We had been waiting for the electrician to come and put in more juice for the AC. He finally showed and rewired the whole deal in an afternoon. So we put in a call to the contractor and BAM!! It was insulated, sheetrocked and painted in 4 days. And we are finished except for putting in the flooor (carpet tile) and hanging the Audimute battens for sound control. I bought chairs yesterday and we should be set. Pics to come later. SO….after the Gig on 9-11 with the EJS BIG BAND we will have a permanent practice facility.
This weekend Im playing with the PJE for a wedding in Peachtree City. Should be interesting. The guests to the wedding are asked to wear “period clothes”. I wonder what this will look like!!! Should be fun!!!
